Subject: Diabetes and Paxil

Has anyone in the group come across any evidence that Paxil may be associated with the onset of Type 2 Diabetes in individuals who are at risk in contracting Type 2 Diabetes? There seems to be some indications that one of the side-effects of Paxil is disruption of the endoctine system balance that might just tip the scales from insulin resistance (sometimes referred to as "borderline diabetes") to full-blown type 2 diabetes. I'm currently researching whether there is indeed a connection. I find myself asking: Is there a connection between the increased use of antidepressants and the increased diagnosis of type 2 diabetes?
